"So what's with the Beard??"
Ray never really wore a beard his entire life, but began growing one after
the events of September 11th, as his own little form of reminder.
He says he will not cut it off "until they catch or kill that Motherf**ker Bin Laden!"
He has been known to trim it just a little!
Ray is in and out, on the road doing shows and visiting with some of his many
friends & fans all around the world, while regularly hitting Music City.
Ray is now putting the finishing touches on his NEW ALBUM (CD).
The 1st album of ALL NEW Ray/Dr. Hook material in well over 2 decades!
Our goal here is to bring you information from throughout Ray’s life and long
musical career. Stories, pictures, links, and more
Look for the new CD this year, hopefully including some RADIO PLAY!

& available during the next couple years. It’s a long process!
Ray has been playing live music for well over 50 years now,
across 6 decades, even though he’s barely 70 years young!
Ray’s professional musical career began in his mid-teens playing drums in
hillbilly bands down South around his home in Mobile, AL
