"I’ve loved photography and photographs since I was a small child. The idea of telling stories visually has just always appealed to me and holds a special place in my heart. My grandmother was a popular local photographer in Norwood, Pa. She owned a studio during the Second World War, where she often shot in black and white, then hand tinted some prints with oil paints. Often her images were made for wives or sweethearts to send to their men stationed overseas. I feel lucky today that I own some of her original prints. She was very much the early inspiration to me. l I was also encouraged by others in my family who too were interested in photography. I grew up always wanting to be a photographer myself and decided to study photo-journalism in college as the natural extension and culmination of that life long dream to shoot photos professionally and help tell peoples’ special stories, This is what I still do today, act as a medium to help others share their lives and stories through images."
Specializing in environmental portraiture (photos set in natural outdoor settings) and Wedding photo-journalism (Wedding memories photographed, captured and presented in such a way that they beautifully and effectively tell each special story in the unique fashion that it deserves).
My services are presently offered and I am available for booking, throughout Delaware County, Philadelphia and suburban Philly, the Main Line, Delaware state, and New Jersey, and Maryland.
"For me the magic of a Photographer is their ability to capture very special moments in time and preserve them so generations to come are able to relive those important events again and again. When I am making a photograph, I always intend to express the feelings of my subjects through the picture, rather than taking strictly "posed" shots which can often feel "artificial"." Candace
